Known as the non-irritating AHA that resurfaces your skin. One main benefit of mandelic acid is that it may be more gentle on the skin compared to other AHAs.  Mandelic acid accelerates cell turnover and functions as a powerful exfoliate to remove dead skin cells. Mandelic acid also improves skin appearance because it promotes collagen production.

This is a liquid product to mix into products not a thick serum.

Exfoliates: Mandelic acid is a chemical exfoliant, meaning it removes layers of debris through a reaction with the skin (rather than exfoliating via abrasive scrubs).

Promotes cell turnover: By dissolving skin cells, mandelic acid works to increase cell turnover, reducing the look of skin damage or acne.

Brightens skin: Exfoliated skin is bright skin and mandelic acid goes a step further, strengthening the skin so it stays bright with continued use.

Clears pores: The acid works itself deep into pores, penetrating deeper than other acids often used on blemish-prone skin.

Reduces hyperpigmentation: Increased cell turnover and exfoliating properties means the acid reduces the look of dark marks and sun damage.

Apply once per day, ideally in the PM. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until the skin develops tolerance. You can use the mandelic water every day. However, we recommend you start out using it 2-3 times a week, at night only and gradually increase the number of times you incorporate it into your routine. Avoid contact with eyes. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Keep out of reach of children. Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. If skin irritation develops after several days or weeks of using mandelic acid, this might be due to overuse. Reduce the number of times you use products containing mandelic acid per day to see if your skin improves. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. You should discontinue using if you develop the following side-effects: Burning and tingling of the skin Peeling where the acid was applied  Drying or reddening of the skin  It is recommended that you do a patch test to determine skin sensitivity and allergy.
