Properties: It can work wonders on skin that's prone to rosacea because jojoba oil contains myristic acid, which is rich in anti-inflammatory properties and reduces swelling and redness. Odorless and incredibly light, jojoba is technically a wax that is well-known for producing oil close to the type our skin produces naturally. That means it’s less likely to cause irritation and will absorb quickly into your skin without leaving a greasy build-up.

Sweet Almond oil

Colour:

Light yellow

Smell:

Slight nutty smell

Texture:

Very light and silky, slowly absorbed

Best suited for skin types:

Oily and sensitive skins

Comedogenic rating: 2

Almond oil contains Vitamin E, which is one of the most potent antioxidants known. It can help repair some of the damage done to the collagen layer. The oil is especially rich in proteins, and can provide the amino acids required for the formation of collagen. External application of the oil can prevent dehydration by reducing moisture loss from the skin.
