INGREDIENTS 101- Salicyclic Acid

WHAT IS SALICYCLIC ACID?

It's a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that speeds up the exfoliation process of the
skin. It can penetrate your pores & help remove excess oil as it can
penetrate beneath the skin's surface to clean out excess sebum from the
pores and reduce oiliness. This can, in turn, also lead to an improvement in
the appearance of pores.

Use daily.

Apply before sunblock and moisturizer.

Helps to break down and eliminate black heads.

Can assist in treating acne.

Reduce acne scarring.

Restore skin texture and radiance.

DO PORES REALLY OPEN AND CLOSE?

NO!!! Pores are not doors! They don't open and close. They do appear bigger
as we age - or if you have oily skin.  As we age and our skin loses its
elasticity due to collagen loss, it will often stretch or sag.
This can cause pores to expand over time, making them more visible as we
age.

During hormonal periods, the overproduction of oil can make pores appear
larger, when excess sebum collects on the skin's surface, magnifying these
small openings.

HOW TO GET RID OF BLACKHEADS?

The best way is to apply Salycyclic Acid- it's a BHA so it the only skincare
ingredient that penetrates the oil and literally unglues the gunk in your
blackheads and helps to eliminate it.
