For brightening and lightening. This serum is made fresh when you order. Contains 10% active Vitamin C . It MUST be used within a month and preferably stored in the fridge to preserve the efficacy of the Vitamin C. Once the colour starts to yellow then the Vitamin C is ineffective- its not harmful it just wont have any benefits.

Most Vitamin C products make use of encapsulated Vitamin C for stability but in actuality not much of the active Vitamin c is available for benefiting the skin.

Boosts the skin’s supply of collagen

Brightens skin and lightens age spots

Potent anti-oxidant

Helps rid the skin of free radicals which cause premature ageing

The antioxidant properties of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and its role in collagen synthesis make vitamin C a vital molecule for skin health. Dietary and topical ascorbic acid have beneficial effects on skin cells, and some studies have shown that vitamin C may help prevent and treat ultraviolet (UV)-induced photodamage.

Vitamin C helps lighten hyperpigmentation and brown spots. It also inhibits melanin production for evening skin tone and brightness.
