Skin Type- Hyper pigmentation

Hyperpigmentation is common in all skin types & colours. Its the name that healthcare professionals give to patches of skin that become darker than surrounding areas of skin. Types of hyperpigmentation include age spots, melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Patches of skin become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. This darkening occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin.

The best defence against hyperpigmentation is sunscreen EVERYDAY and exfoliate once or twice a week to speed up exfoliation process of the skin.
